Damn but it's been a while since I've done this.
Three Pokemon for sale! Togetic at level twenty-eight, a female, cheerful, name of Beatrice. A Happiny at level twenty-seven, sweet but a little spoiled, female as well. Answers to Mary. And then an Altaria at thirty-six, a male, a little scattered. Name me your price and we'll haggle it out.
On the road again at last with hardly a care in sight. I'm the last you'll hear complaining about a life of traveling freely but lately I've had the feeling of turning a wheel over and over when it's not firm on the axle. Traveling and winning battles and having the money to continue doing so but where are we going after all. Once Pokemon are at the hundredth level can they really grow no stronger? It seems disheartening. I hope that spells out nothing about humans. I shudder to think I could look up and into the future and see a wall where an ever rising road could be.
I've languished these past weeks and only of my own failing. Come and gab and have me make a friend of you. Or a rival if you'd rather.

With as long as you've been here are you still battling?

This kind of simple, quiet life suits me just fine, or it did once I got used to it.

I want to be sure you're not typing this from the edge of a cliff somewhere.

Because Bertholt would likely be very upset if you slung yourself off of one, and I would really prefer to not deal with anything of the sort.

It's dispiriting to have a Pokemon so eager to battle that simply can't grow further though.

Though it's interesting to keep in mind that sometimes when a climbing vine reaches a ceiling, it simply opts to grow in a different direction, instead.

[But if that had not been the case, would he have been able to- No. Pondering that is meaning less now.]
But you can still use external sources to improve, just as a Pokémon can learn additional attacks from TMs or Move Tutors.

strength is in the eye of the beholder
when you get right down to it a lot of really good battling has to do with strategy and shit
even if a pokemon hits 100 that doesn't mean they can't get smarter and learn
or get in shape or whatever
and humans dont even have levels
i wouldnt worry about it
[Text]
That excepted I do see your meaning. The Pokegears have spoiled me.
[Text]
well i was being cliche there
but what i mean is that theres different kinds of strength
my dog is level 100 but he's also a giant dumbass
like legit i bet someone's welltrained level 80 could probably kick his fat furry butt if they played their cards right

Now, that doesn't mean you can't hit a brick wall eventually. Right now, this place doesn't offer much to do once you get both sets of badges beyond tourism and rematches. Still, I've seen people get by. Just depends on how goal-oriented you are, I'd say.
