I think after the party and after our exchange she's just floundering. There's nothing to back her words anymore so all she can do is pretend she has face to save.

I hope she'll grow out of that childish attitude and stop thinking she can do whatever she wants because she thinks she's better than everyone else. I feel sorry for her Pokémon.

Isn't that the worst part? If not for that I'd just leave her be but it galls to think she's got some poor creature doing her bidding. That and that she's bullied someone to tears but it's different when it's someone she has outright control over.

I don't know if she's realized it yet, but mistreated dogs bite their owners sooner or later. These creatures can do a lot more than just bite a person.

After talking to Ishimaru about just this, Walter knows better than to elaborate on how he feels about that prospect. Telling people that you want other people dead is fucked-up and not advised, especially when the people you're telling have been through some unspecified unpleasant experience involving death of innocents (...as far as he knows.)

Speaking of which.] Is it coincidence that you and Ishimaru are involved with her or is she among yours? I'm sorry if so.

Saionji-san's from the same school as us. But she's from the class above ours.

[ ...Or something. The 78th class supposedly were the sole survivors of that incident but then another class appeared out of nowhere and he's still "???" over that. ]

I can't remember, but it's possible I did at some point.

I wondered what you might know of her situation, pay no mind. Didn't think your world had people of such. [Voice to text picks up the loss for words as a full stop.] How she is.

I don't know much about her other that she's from the famous Saionji clan. She once told me that the world is split between those of noble origin and everyone else, who are destined to serve the upper class as slaves. Maybe she was raised from birth to believe that...

No, it's not. I may just be an average kid but I'm not a slave.

Good to hear. [He's about to follow that up idly asking what being an average kid entails, but he stops and stares at it for a moment then backspaces. Nope, that sounds stupid.]

I wonder if I harped on the point longer than I should have. It's not as though her mind will be changed.

I don't know, maybe it'll change given time.

Nothing just changes with time. It takes a shock and she's listened to nothing yet.

But I'll leave it there. I've let her rile me too often and until she hounds me or Bertholt again she's none of my concern.

Well apart from that. We've been in Goldenrod since the party because Bert hadn't yet seen it. I'd only been through in passing before but it's nice here with all the commotion.

You're in Goldenrod? Then you should come visit our house sometime. But yeah, it's a nice place. It kind of reminds me of Tokyo, except it's a lot smaller.

Doesn't it? That's why I like it so much I think. But I'll have to do that now I know. Drop in when you least expect it.

It's the house next to the Breeding Center. Just be careful when the door opens. The Eevees tend to get really enthusiastic whenever we get a visitor.
