fusion error - fourth wall video/action
[Video]
[Video switches on to Walter's sleeve...and something tugging at it, as he chuckles. It tilts up, and the owner of the appendages appears to be a very focused Drifloon.]
What are you doing? [The grin is audible in his voice.] I don't think you can do that. I'm too heavy. [Floooo! Hush you, he's gonna try.] Ha...look at this. [Addressing the viewer now.] Where are you thinking of taking me, eh? Humans don't fly.
[There's an unholy gurgling noise off screen, and Walter turns the camera to capture this...corpse-like monstrosity being harassed by two other Drifloon, twitching and wobbling on its long legs as one tries to get a hold on one of its rotting arms and the other pulls on an eyestalk.] And that thing certainly doesn't.
[The Drifloon on his arm Flooooo!s again, and-] Hoy, where'd you come from? Going to help too? [The camera's still turned in Pisaca's general direction, but even as it wobbles, there's another blotch of purple...and another...and another.] Wait, I don't think - hold, you. I - whoa - hoy! [The camera suddenly lurches amidst indignant yelling and weird hissing, then spins; then, with a thud, the Pokegear hits the ground, facing up.
There they go. Human and demon, carried away by small balloons. The last thing the 'Gear captures is a Houndoom and some other thing standing over it, staring up at the sky with twin cries of confusion and dismay ("Boss what!"/"Masssster...!")]
[Action]
[THIS THING SMELLS LIKE HOME AND NEW FRIEND CAN COME TOO but holy shit, small balloons are very lost. So they'll be stopping here and there to ask directions to the underworld.
You can catch Walter (and the demon but why would you) either on his way down or while on the ground, looking...well, like you'd expect someone who's been abducted by balloons to look. He's got a few of them thwarting attempts to flee while the rest interrogate the local ghosts. PLEASE ASSIST]

...Was that Walter? The Samurai dude from Tokyo or something???? Maybe. Just maybe the demon was a familiar ...? Unless the demon was in control of the poor drifloon ON NO]
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!!!! I'M GONNA CUT YOU DOWN! JUST SO YOU KNOW!
[And, this time, he draws his sword. He needed to be ready for anything.]
no subject
HOLD, HOLD, DON'T DO THAT.
[HE ALREADY TRIED IT DIDN'T WORK though wtf is he planning to do with a sword from all the way down there]
no subject
[Really now, Samurai Dude. Rin's just trying to lend a guy a hand, but if Samurai Man was all gung-ho about chilling with his familiar then that might be okay.
Rin looked from his sword to Samurai Dude and Friends. How the hell was he supposed to get them down, anyway... He only had his sword and his blue flames so -- Oh! Idea!]
HOW ABOUT I THROW MY FLAMES AT YOU INSTEAD? I WON'T STAB YOU, IF THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT!!!
no subject
...and fire is an even worse idea for so many reasons. But in Walter's hurry to turn that one down as well, he unbalances and flips over with a yelp, now dangling from a cluster of worried- looking Drifloon by his ankles while grabbing at his sword and gun to make sure they don't fall. Blood...rushing...to head...]
no subject
...Oh well, first time for everything. He takes a batter's stance and swings his sword as hard as possible. A wall of blue flames is coming right at ya-- oh no, wait, they're going for the big toothy demon thing. Because it is obviously in control here. Dem flames look pretty dangerous - but he's got some control. He knows he only wants to burn the demon. But. You know. Things happen...]
no subject
okay so three things are happening here
first, the demon is now crispy and Walter's Gauntlet is beeping at him urgently
second, the Drifloon holding onto it are singed but now three times bigger and look very offended
third, Walter is yelling]
WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
no subject
Hm. Curious-er and Curious-er... What a dumb question to ask, sheesh. Ordinarily he'd try talking to the demon first but life-threatening situations being what they are...]
I'M TRYING TO GET YOU DOWN FROM THERE. UNLESS YOUR PLAN WAS TO FALL ON YOUR HEAD.

[To be fair to Rin, though, the 'floons do seem to be descending. The ones holding Pisaca definitely are, depositing their poor charred friend on the ground before turning to Rin and puffing themselves up menacingly....]
no subject
[It's a balloon, why would fire make ... it ... oh shit it was like a hot air balloon?! Wait, so they were never under demonic control?????? Are they seriously mad at him right now?!!]
WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY ANYTHING EARLIER?! [GAWD SAMURAI DUDE, WAY TO LEAVE OUT IMPORTANT INFORMATION. Just gonna take a tiny step away from the drifloon. They really shouldn't be that big, right?]
no subject
And no, they shouldn't be that big...except they have Flame Boost and now they're Stockpiling. gon' Spit Up on you demon kid 8|
Looming closer...poofier...closer...poofier...]
no subject
Rin is feeling the impending doom... he takes another careful step back but. But there is only tree.
There is no escape. DOOM IS HERE.]
no subject
BLAAAAAAAAAAGH]
no subject
OH EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW
EWEWEWEW WAS THERE SOMETHING ELSE WITH THOSE BOMBS. OH NO HE'S SOAKING IN SOMETHING AND HE TOTALLY DOESN'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT IS. When he opens his eyes, he finds that he has been blasted to the ground. His ears are still ringing... And the poor little drifloon...!! He's gotta check on them -
Oh yeah and Samurai Guy.]
no subject
Samurai Guy is on the ground and trying to figure out what part of Kentucky Fried Demon over here is its throat so he can shove a Revival Bead down it. Some nervous-looking Drifloon are clustered around them.]
no subject
...So the only thing to do is to carefully maneuver himself around them, mutter an insincere apology, and make his way toward Colonel Samurai. It would be redundant to ask if everything was okay... The demon is still down. Good.]
no subject
anyways, Walter...has his hand in the thing's "mouth", kind of fishing around for where to drop the bead. Ew.]
Eat it, will you - hoy, you. [And looking over his shoulder at Rin. He's mad because you dun fucked it up but he honestly can't be too mad because he'd have done more or less the same thing.]
